Michael is a graduate of Chicago's highly-regarded Flashpoint Academy.  In the past five years, Michael has had the extraordinary opportunity to direct six feature length films in and around the Chicagoland area.  As of this past June, he wrapped production on his latest project, Two Days in February.  In addition to Darren & Abbey, Michael has three independent features currently in post production.  Those films include: Coasting, Great Heights and Two Days in February.  Last year, Michael recieved the first place prize for his work in a McDonald's Viral Media Competition as well as "Best College Film" at the 2008 Flint Film Festival for his feature Sleep to Dream.  As a director, Michael's projects tend to explore the romantic comedy genre in a rather unconventional style, taking common story structures and placing them in an unusual setting.
